6th Technical Seminar: Power Skiving

Power skiving is still one of the most exciting emerging processes in mechanical engineering, as shown by the sheer volume of trade fair announcements, industry articles, and scientific papers on the topic. Naturally, there was plenty to discuss at the 6th Power Skiving Specialist Seminar on November 27, 2025, in Chemnitz. We were delighted to welcome you to this event alongside our new partner, PRÄWEMA Antriebstechnik GmbH.

This year, the event was dedicated to the pressing questions facing the industry, extending well beyond just drive technology: How will mobility evolve? What gear types and production volumes should we expect? How can high quality standards be maintained over a long tool life? And what is the optimal process chain for a finished gear?

We approached this with a slightly tongue-in-cheek title: "Hard, fine, finish, done: How is final quality achieved?"

At its core, this is about collaborating on innovative approaches to ensure future economic leadership-distilled down to one specific method. To that end, the seminar featured informative presentations from renowned experts covering machines, tooling, and processes.
